  new Bridge to Independence program\, which was passed last year through L
 B 216 to provide voluntary serives and support to age 21 for young people 
 aging out of foster care. Following an overview of the law and an update o
 n implementation\, the sessions will walk through the specific pieces conn
 ected to the courts from beginning to end\, from informing potentially eli
 gible youth about this program beginning at age 16\, to the process of the
  voluntary agreement and the filing of the petition\, to the court review 
 process\, and more. There will also be time for discussion of the implemen
 tation of this program in your local area and a discussion about what it m
 eans to be young adult-directed. Practical resources including sample lega
 l documents and reference guides will be provided.
