 cial Advocate (CASA) program.  When home is no longer safe for a child\, a
 nd the child must enter the foster care system\, a judge may appoint a com
 mitted volunteer called a CASA to advocate for a child's best interest and
  be that child's voice in court. CASAs are volunteers that require no spec
 ial background in child welfare.  It's a CASA's desire to help a child in 
 need that makes them SUPER!  Come help raise awareness about child abuse w
 ithin our community by participating in the 5K Superhero Run for CASA and 
 dressing up as your favorite superhero.  If you are unable to race but wil
